SUPERPOWERS SHOWCASE
Was a huge hit! Thanks to all!
Starring Doug Klauba, interior artist for Dynamite's new
Alex Ross helmed project: SUPERPOWERS.
Doug is a multiple-awarded fantasy illustrator and cover artist on Moonstone's Phantom and Kolchak the Night Stalker comics and graphic novels.
Doug was at the shop showcasing his art and signing autographs for any of his many projects, including the very exciting, newly released Superpowers #0
Many enjoyed the fine art, beautiful comic books, and even some wine and cheese.
(Yes, it's true. Comics CAN be high-brow, come see for yourself!)

Dark Tower Midnight Release Event report by Lori, the Frankfort

Many thanks to those that came out to the Frankfort store on a very
cold and snowy Feb. 6th for the Midnight release of Gunslinger Born
#1! For those that didn't make it out, here is a run-down of what you
missed! You missed the opportunity to be the first person on your
block to purchase and read a copy of Stephen King's Gunslinger Born #1
by Marvel Comics! You missed your chance to WIN a copy of the
Gunslinger Born #1 Joe Quesada variant cover, we gave TWO copies of
that baby away, and YOU missed you chance! Every person who bought a
copy of Gunslinger Born #1, was entered into the raffle for FREE!
Congrats go out to our two winners: Brian Wood and BJ Behrens! If you
would have braved the weather for this event, you would have also
earned a 20% discount on EVERYTHING in the store, yep, you missed it

local comic shop!
